While They Talk Iran Builds Nukes

I try to avoid reporting on the complete waste of time that is the supposed diplomacy being used to “convince” Iran to stop its vowed quest to build nuclear weapons. However, since it seems the media and the “world community” wish to continue playing games with the radical regime, I feel it is necessary to point out the obvious truth. But first, we have nearly every news agency reporting on the new agreement reached between six nations that outline some incentives and disincentives for Iran to think about. Keep in mind that it took a year for the six major nations to come together with this type of package. One year to come up with a deal that will be promptly rejected by the radical regime…

VIENNA, June 1 -- The United States and five other major world powers agreed Thursday to offer Iran a broad new collection of rewards if it halts its drive to master nuclear technology, but they threatened "further steps in the Security Council"
if Iran refuses.

The agreement, announced here by British Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett following extended talks, brings general unity to the countries' approach to Iran after months of discord, diplomats said. It is intended to sharpen the choice facing Iran, giving it a clear reason to opt for
cooperation over confrontation on its nuclear program.

Doesn’t this complete and utter ineffective diplomacy make you feel better? It’s almost as if they think writing a letter to Iran will prevent them from acquiring nuclear weapons and begging them will somehow convince Iran to never provide that weaponry to their brothers in Al Qaeda.

Listen, Iran will never stop its nuclear research nor will they ever give up what they claim is their right to nuclear technology. Iran is a regime that sponsors terrorism and has aided in the deaths of hundreds of American service men and women in Iraq. They are currently housing top Al Qaeda officials and have intentions on undermining US Foreign policy in the region. And the threat of nuclear weapons in the hands of terrorists is a very real threat that will undoubtedly materialize if the “world community" has their way. Luckily, President Bush is just exhausting all of the “necessary” diplomacy routes in order to diminish the inevitable condemnation from the anti-American elements within the UN and across the world, when the US is forced to act.
