Smugglers are reportedly giving immigrants what is known as a “triple stacker” — an ephedrine pill and asprin with a can of Red Bull to wash it all down, Border Patrol agents told WOAI news radio station in Texas.
The caffeine combo, which can lead to dehydration, especially in the scorching temperatures of the deserts, is one of the main reasons for immigrant deaths before they make it into the U.S.
